Sirius Satellite Radio Debuts In Canada

December 01, 2005 | Other
The Canadian-flavored version of Sirius Satellite Radio has announced that it will launch its service on Thursday, December 1st. Receivers will be available at various retailers across the nation, including Best Buy, Wal-Mart and London Drugs. Sirius Canada will have its own special programming in addition to carrying some of the popular channels presently enjoyed by Sirius Satellite Radio subscribers in America.

Among those American channels to be included in Sirius Canada's offering is Elvis Radio/Channel 13, the all-Elvis-music channel that went on the air in the summer of 2004 and has been a major hit. For much of each day, the Elvis programming emanates from a booth in the visitor center across the street from Graceland Mansion in Memphis, Tennessee.
