Top 50 Live Albums Of All Time

June 26, 2002 | Other
The House of Blues announced the launch of a company-wide promotion celebrating the Top 50 Live Albums of all time. The 'Top 50' pays tribute to artists who've contributed the best live music recordings, as determined by House of Blues, as well as those artists touring today. "Live music and summer are a natural fit and a great time to celebrate the contributions of those artists no longer performing as well as the current favorites performing in our venues". The 'Top 50' promotion was created by HOB to entertain and engage live music fans visiting one of its 29 venues or the HOB website. The Top 5 Live Albums Of All Times are:

1 Jimi Hendrix Band of Gypsys
2 Various Artists Woodstock: Three Days of Peace & Music
3 Johnny Cash At Folsom Prison
4 Bob Dylan Bootleg Series Vol. 4: Live 1966 Royal Albert Hall
5 Miles Davis The Complete Live at the Plugged Nickel 1965

Elvis is at No. 40 with "Aloha From Hawaii"
