Cooper Owen hold it's first Rock Legends sale at their new gallery in Denmark Street, London 4pm BST on Tuesday 24 September. Commission bids can be placed online now at the Cooper Owen site and until 2pm BST on Tuesday 24 August.
Star lot of the auction is a Jimi Hendrix burnt Sunburst Fender Stratocaster given to Frank Zappa at the Miami Pop Festival, 1968. Also included are a Hotel Chisca Memphis note paper, the date Elvis visited DJ Dewy Phillips at WHBQ Radio, which was based in the hotel, and Souvenir Concert photo album signed by Elvis Presley.
