In Malaysia the "Elvis Cruise Hunt" which offers a Perodua Kelisa car worth almost RM40,000 as the grand prize was flagged off this Saturday. The hunt, jointly organised by recording company BMG (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and Radio 4 was flagged off by Deputy Information Minister Datuk Khalid Yunus at Angksapuri.

Held in conjunction with the launch of "Rock and Roll" legend, Elvis Presley's compilation album, which contains 30 hits, it involves 20 participants comprising Radio 4 callers who have been selected in earlier rounds. BMG Music promotions manager Mukhlis Mustafa said the hunt differed from other treasure hunts as the contestants were provided with a car and driver each. The hunt will take the participants through Jalan Bangsar, Jalan Duta, Jalan Kuching, Batu Caves as well as Ulu Yam to Genting Highlands. "At Genting Highlands, the contestants will have to go through the Indoor and Outdoor Theme Parks to get answers to clues and six winners will be chosen," he said.

"The six winners would then be given a quiz, whereby only one will win the grand prize," Mukhlis said, adding that the results would be announced tomorrow.
