On Worldwide Elvis we found an update on the New Gladiator (Elvis karate documentary) DVD project. It looks like finally 93 minutes of footage with a musical score by Graham Nash and David Crosby will be released. This should be a legitimate release but there is no Elvis footage. It is however what Elvis had filmed. There is no Joe Tunzi involvement with this project.
According to the information on the Golden Sun site the DVD includes 'an amazing 32 minutes of Elvis Presley in color performing karate techniques in Memphis Tennessee. Rising Sun is still looking for possible projects to release this extremely rare footage'.
