These figures do not those sales from HMV so the figures are probably higher, according to another website (i'm not allowed to give web addresses)

Elvis & Amarillo are neck & neck, but the problem is you can actually buy Amarillo, there are absolutely tons in the shops (& quite fair enough) but once more the latest Elvis offering, in this case The Wonder Of You, is totally unavailable to the general public in most shops, and also to quite a lot of fans (No, I haven't been able to find one for myself yet!)

Downloads are included in the chart from this week, so there are unlimited numbers of sales available for Elvis. It's available to download from the likes of Woolworths for 79p. Perhaps worth buying even if you have the physical single just to help get our man to No 1!!

Let's hope 'The Wonder Of You' makes it to be number one. Spread the word, because it looks like this week he has a shot. It will mane a stance for his 70's work....

I meant - These figures do not include those sales from HMV so the figures are probably higher, according to another website (i'm not allowed to give web addresses). And the download sales aren't counted until saturday evening. Everyone get downloading.

The Wonder Of You must get to No.1, this could be Elvis' last chance. So, go hunt for it, buy it, download it. Do everything you can possibly can. With all the loyal Elvis fans..it can be dne, it will be done, it must be done. Long Live the king!

if this song is number 1 , as some before this song were far superior , it shows you that the songs that beat elvis were all just there at the right time and bought to beat elvis . keep buying

Since living in Malta there was nothing I could do to help get Elvis to #1 in UK, I have this time dowloaded TWOY from MSN (hope I am allowed to say that) and trust I have given my share in helping our man obtain another #1. BTW, it only cost me 69p, so come on fellow fans (especially those living outside the UK) get cracking!!

Tempting though it is i`m not going to get carried away,we`ve lost leads of 10,000 before, nevermind 177! I`m actually disappointed with our above sales figure-is it not the lowest,or at least one of the lowest we`ve had at this stage of the week?! Putting my `optimism` aside i would pretty much do anything to read a headline on sunday of `The 22nd Wonder of Elvis` or `Elvis the 1000th is now Elvis the 1st`-anything along those lines really! I won't get my hopes up about the sales so far....but fingers crossed hey! I would have thought though that TWOY will make it as it is such a brilliant song!As for Lisa's Cd.....i am not interested to be honest but no doubt when we go to the Concert at the end of the month it will no doubt be playing in the background while we are waiting for the show to start as the last one did

There's still one copy in the H

Sorry, pressed the wrong button! There's still a copy of TWOY in HMV in Walthamstow. I heard a programme today on BBC Radio Five Live about the new downloaded chart, and the guests didn't seem to think that it would affect the upper part of the chart until September, when the full downloading bit comes in (?!?). However, when that kicks in it appears that there's an awful lot more scope for established artists to get into the charts. Imagine the potential audience for a previously unreleased Elvis/Stones/Beatles/Hendrix/Dylan track.....on the internet.....for 79p?! Eat yer heart out Britney.

I don't know about any other music stores, but HMV in Manchester state that they haven't received any copies of the 10" TWOY single. As always the copies of the cd sold out within minutes. I was informed that the 10" copies should arrive later this week...another cock up!!

Woolworths at Walton On Thames had about 6 copies of the CD in stock all initial first pressings, I believe, i.e. numbers under 22,500.

I've just downloaded my first ever Elvis single.79pence well spent. Elvis is number 3 on the Woolworths download chart,Amarillo is number 2 and Ciara is number 1. Come on everyone lets get downloading and buying.
bossanovababy wrote on April 14, 2005
That Ciara person is the one i`m worried about.I don`t think we`ve had a top20 Download so far so if that number three is reflected all over, plus if we can stay top of `actual` sales then maybe we`ll go close? Someone tell me yes! Come on King.TCB
