Free Elvis CD For Everyone (in UK)

February 14, 2001 | Other
In a deal part-brokered by Todd Slaughter to promote Elvis' music and the new movie release "Elvis That's The Way Is Is", the British newspaper The Sunday Telegraph will be giving every reader the opportunity to get a free Elvis CD. This multi-media give-away will contain three audio tracks, "Hound Dog", "Burning Love", and "In The Ghetto", plus CD Rom programming which will include the TTWII movie trailer, and an Elvis Presley picture gallery. Also there will be the chance for readers to win a trip to Memphis, provided by "Elvis-Today".

"We are delighted to be part of the Sunday Telegraph project. This British newspaper is an extremely up-market vehicle, and will expand interest in Elvis throughout the social spector. For far too long Elvis has only been judged as a "blue collar" - "no collar" act. The age group of Telegraph readers exactly matches the Elvis fan profile."

Readers have to buy the newspaper on Sunday 4th March, and Sunday 11th March and clip out two redeemable vouchers which will be exchanged for the free CD. Another first for Elvis!
