BMG-FUNHOUSE (Japan) just released 20 Elvis CD's on Jan.8, 2000 in Japan. Only a limited number of 2000 copies were pressed. The CD's are inserted in paper sleeves, like the original US LP's (no plastic case).
These CD's will be 24-bit-digitally-remastered in MCA Studio in Japan. (Analogical Spectrum Clear Sound, they say)
Elvis' Christmas Album is remastered from original 1957 master tape recent found in Japan-Victor Co's vault. Hopefully the remastering will be done better than on the recent Japanese release "The Complete Singles Collection".
