Finally Fire Down Below?

February 02, 2000 | Other
Probably "There's A Fire Down Below" will be released on the upcoming Follow That Dream-release, the Jungleroom Sessions. This Jerry Scheff song, which was supposed to be recorded by Elvis in October 1976 will finally find its way to our ears, as it seems now. Without Elvis, because the instrumental track was never overdubbed by him. Elvis never showed up for any recording session anymore, so Felton Jarvis took the mastertrack everywhere he and Elvis went, even on tour, according to Felton's wife Mary. Unfortunately Felton Jarvis wasn't able to trick Elvis into doing a vocal cut.
