Elvis Commemorated On Hockey Puck

January 06, 2004 | People
When the RiverKings next hit the ice on On Thursday to face the Wichita Thunder, the team will introduce the only puck of its kind ever to be released in association with Graceland and Elvis Presley Enterprises.

The Kings game operations Director Gene Szucs said the evening will be full of everything Elvis. These pucks will go very quickly and no more will ever be produced. Only 1,500 pucks will be available.

The event is in recognition of what would have been The King of Rock and Roll’s 69th birthday. Elvis was born in Tupelo on Jan. 8, 1935.

This is great! But it's too bad it will probably be the last time this happens since someone out there will sell some of these pucks on ebay, and then EPE will be offended by this practice...
