I've always liked the cover even though the picture is from "Fun In Acapulco", but does anyone know why? Did they not do a PHS photo shoot? Just wondering. Looking forward to this soundtrack even though it gets dumped on.

To emjel: are the pictures of Elvis used on the back cover of the original LP from the PHS photo shoot? I've always liked those. There certainly would have been no harm in useing one of those(imo).

The photo used on this Cover artwork is from the movie FUN IN ACAPULCO. It's a nice cover - I am looking forward to the Soundtrack CD.

The reason the Fun in Acapulco picture was used is because Col Parker felt that using a picture from PHS where Elvis is a little bloated in the face was not a good marketing idea.
