CD "Totally Stung" Released

January 09, 2001 | Music
The Madison label has just released "Totally Stung". The soundquality is supposed to be excellent and there should be no heavy tampering like many others releases from that period had. The June '58 tracks stand out among the best of this CD and out-takes of "Lawdy Miss Clawdy" (some takes of this great 1956 song can be heard here for the first time) are just simply outstanding. The artwork has a "fifties-look" and contains a review describing the great spirit in the recording studio for Elvis' final session of the fifties.
Most tracks were released on several CDs (I Got Stung, Absent Without Leave) but never in this sound quality, according to For Elvis CD Collectors.
