Here is the cover of the Elvis edition of Billboard magazine in which Billboard salutes Elvis Presley and the 50th anniversary of rock'n'roll, with a special report. This September 18th issue will be available on newsstands September 10th.
"Elvis: 50 Years of Rock 'n'Roll" reports on the enduring impact of the king of rock'n'roll, 50 years after the recording of his first hit, "That's All Right," at Sun Studios in Memphis in 1954. Earlier this year, the Recording Industry Assn. of America confirmed that Presley is the best-selling solo artist in U.S. history.

What about "the beste selling solo artist in the world!" considering all the albums they made without knowledge of RCA/BMG. Those albums were never added to the official number of sold albums.
