(Young dreams of love, young dreams of love)
Young dreams (Young dreams, young dreams)
My heart is filled with young dreams (dreams)
And I'm longing to
Share them all with you

In my eyes, (my eyes, my eyes)
Oh can't you see in my eyes (in eyes)
That you're the only one who
Can make my young dreams come true

I have young arms
That wanna hold you (hold you)
Hold you oh so tight
I have young lips (lips)
That want to kiss you (kiss you)
Kiss you morning noon and night
Take my hand (my hand my hand)
Oh darling take my hand (take hand)
And let me make you a part
Of all my young dreams of love

I have young arms
That wanna hold you (hold you)
Hold you oh so tight
I have young lips (lips)
That want to kiss you (kiss you)
Kiss you morning noon and night
Take my hand (my hand my hand)
Oh darling take my hand (take hand)
And let me make you a part
Of all my young dreams of love
A part of all of my young dreams of love
(Young dreams of love, young dreams of love)

Nice pop ballad with a real Elvis-style vocal as only he could do in the 50's. Even the average movie songs from the 50's were better than most of what was to come in the 60's movies.

This is a very good song from an excellent film & soundtrack. "Oh can't you see in my eyes" love the way he sings this line. Never tire of this film & the songs, except maybe the School song lol 5 stars..nah, 10.

Outstanding 50's ballad. Makes you want to be perpetually in love. Has such an emotional ending that I can listen to it over and over again!

one of those great songs from his greatest fifites movie, an alltime favourite!

Great song, great movie, great soundtrack! This is just a really good track, and even if there'd been no movie and Elvis put this out as a single in 1958 (or any year in the 1950s) it would have been a hit.

My reveiw of this song still stands today & always will. The people who ridicule Elvis should be made to sit down and watch this film, they would soon change their minds, if they didn't, they must be dead!

Solid four star ballad from the movie "King Creole" given the five star treatment by Elvis. His delivery of this song is impeccable as is most of his performaces on this soundtrack. Quite simply his best movie soundtrack with more than six songs.

Great song from a really good soundtrack and film, why did it all go so wrong in the 1960s?

Great song, probably from Elvis' most diverse & challenging soundtrack. He was at the top of his game in 1958, there was no one even close. Sad, the Army interrupted and changed it all forever.

This is a truly great song but the backing singers do spoil things slightly for me. Awesome movie too.

Here's a song / recording I really like, yet it's not one you hear about a that often. Elvis trying different tempo's in one recording. In 1958 he was still a trend setter. Another from the same Lp along these lines was Lover Doll.

This is such a spectacular song and it's from my favorite Elvis movie.

Different from most of his songs released, his vocal capabilities were constantly improving. Suddenly coming closer to the microphone was a bit similar to Buddy Holly's Listen To Me which was equally impressive. Two years later the coarseness in his voice was quicky evaporating, which I think was a deliberate ploy by Elvis.

An average song from my favourite Elvis movie. Not much interesting is going on with this song, other than the great performance Elvis deliveres. Without him, this song would have nothing to speak for it.

One of many excellent songs from his best film soundtrack "King Creole" released in 1958, a mere 57 years ago. Wow how time flies when you're having fun. I never tire of this song especially the way it ends.

This song sounds better than ever (along with all the other tracks) on the new (2015) FTD classic album release of "King Creole"!

This movie song is a true gem and Elvis' rendition of it was marvelous. The other sixteen songs that Elvis recorded that were co-written by Aaron Schroeder were "A Big Hunk O' Love", "Any Way You Want Me (That's How I Will Be)", "Apron Strings", "Dixieland Rock", "Don't Leave Me Now", "First In Line", "Good Luck Charm", "Got A Lot O' Livin' To Do", "I Got Stung", "I Was The One", "In Your Arms", "It's Now Or Never", "Santa, Bring My Baby Back (To Me)", "Shoppin' Around", "Stuck On You" and "Young And Beautiful".
