I loved this movie when I saw it in the theaters and had to go back 2 more times to see it on the big screen. The last time in the theater I had the pleasure of seeing the extended version which included Where Do You Come From, I Don't Want To and the long version of We'll Be Together. I loved the entire album including the ones that most other Elvis fans don't. When a new Elvis album came out I couldn't wait to get it and play it over and over. This is one of my very favorite soundtracks from a favorite movie containing my favorite song "Return To Sender". If you don't have it, buy it. It's well worth it.

This release is ideal for me. An affordable CD version (unlike FTD), properly mastered (unlike Double Features). Of course, the first nine tracks are the proper cuts. The remaining four don't really work for me, in the film or as standalone tracks. The film didn't do justice to the song 'Earth Boy', not with those little girls chiming in. Having said that, pretty darn good soundtrack!

Decent soundtrack, but not his best. However, I must say, its the worst album cover, photo of Elvis, ever !! I wish RCA, replaced the photo for the reissue. Who okayed this horrible photo of Elvis? Colonel Parker? Album songs- 3 stars- Photo cover rating -1-

Just expressing my opinion. To my ears the DF sucks.

Vic Anesini and JerryNodak again? I have both the double features and FTD versions of this soundtrack and while the FTD issue is a better CD, the double features CD is not at all bad, as Mr. Nodak would have us believe. Regardless, this is one of the better soundtracks Elvis ever recorded.

Audio on DF version sucks. Mastering here done by Vic Anesini. FTD version? Great, but sometimes I just want to listen to the soundtrack as originally released without having to program my cd player.

Great soundtrack but why would I buy this when I have it on the double features soundtrack cds relaesed years ago and also in FTD? Give me a break. Greed is good I guess.
