5 Stars5 Stars5 Stars5 Stars5 StarsJust got this on vinyl. 'I've Got to Find My Baby' bears a resemblance to 'Twist & Shout' in its layered harmonic structure. 'The Meanest Girl in Town' was apparently recorded by Bill Haley & His Comets in 1964, under a different title. There is something infectious about 'Do the Clam'! Love the sly piano groove on 'Cross My Heart and Hope to Die'. All in all, this is a record filled with pleasant, slight ditties. It's an extremely enjoyable pop/rock 'n' roll record and all the tunes are memorable and hummable. I'll be playing this one often!

1 StarSound wise, this is superior to the first FTD Girl Happy release (I haven't got the second FTD Girl Happy release, so can't comment). There is less echo/reverb that was added to the FTD version and overall much better sound.

3 Stars3 Stars3 StarsThis is not one of my favorite Elvis soundtrack but it will fill the spot in my CD collection. I do mine in order they where originaly released and at $5:00 a pop I can afford it

1 StarThis was one of 3 CD's I received yesterday and yes, I still only give it one star. While the re-mastering is quite good aka updated, the actual songs are really pedestrian and definitely written to accommodate the actual movie which was very light weight!

1 StarYes JerryNoadak a supreme stinker; however, knowing the price on this soundtrack will be cheaper than previous issues, I just may buy this new version to re-examine myself as to this CD. I may or may not have mellowed in my old age, but let's see if a dog is a dog.

4 Stars4 Stars4 Stars4 Starsi love the album and the movie both were fun to watch and to listen to. the only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that there are many other 1960 albums of elvis that are like this sadly.
