Woody Does Elvis

The American actor Woody Harrelson performed Elvis' "Jailhouse Rock" on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Friday, November 12. Harrelson told Leno that Elvis was the reason why he went into acting. He performed an Elvis song in a library while in high school that attracted attention. He was asked to try acting. He said that "Jailhouse Rock" was his favorite Elvis movie. Harrelson did a great version of "Jailhouse Rock".

Jay Leno is also a huge Elvis fan and a fan of the Elvis movies. Leno talked with Woody about the Elvis movies. Leno said that "Jailhouse Rock" and "King Creole" were Elvis' best movies and his favorites. He said that Elvis movies had become too formulaic by the time of "Clambake".
