Willie Phelps, country singer/songwriter died at the age of 89. Willie wrote hundreds of songs. One, “I’m Beginning to Forget You,” was later recorded by Elvis Presley.

Its very sad to hear that one of the songwriters has passed away. My heart felt sympathy to his family.
Elvis recorded - Im Beginning to forget you , many years ago and this was a demo record, as a gift to his mother when he started out in the music business.
