Klosterman Baking Company Sponsors Elvis Presley Photography Exhibit Showing at The Kroger Co. Corporate Offices Is Open To The Public.

Klosterman Baking Company of Cincinnati, will sponsor a showing of candid photographs of Elvis Presley – during his early years. The site of the showing that will be open to the public is the downtown Cincinnati Headquarters of the Kroger Co. – 1014 Vine Street. The photographic showing is in conjunction with a promotional partnership Klosterman has formed with Kroger Co., around the Elvis Presley mystique. Klosterman is offering the consumer a Teddy Bear likeness of Elvis Presley through Cincinnati and Dayton Area Kroger Stores, Exclusively. This photographic showing is part of the total promotion with Kroger. This promotion is licensed by Elvis Presley Enterprises.

The showing will open August 28, with a Live Radio Broadcast by local Cincinnati radio station, WGRR. Mr. Al Wertheimer, the photographer, will be in Cincinnati for the opening of the exhibit and WGRR will interview him. The legendary Cincinnati Radio Personality, Jim LaBarbara – The Music Professor – is scheduled to do the Wertheimer interview for WGRR. Mr. Wertheimer is notable for his ability, no only to make wonderful photographic images, but his ability to tell the great stories behind each of the photos. Mr.Wertheimer was given unlimited access to Elvis Presley, during the early years of Elvis’ career. Mr. Wertheimer also was one of the key photographers on the classic documentary – Woodstock (1970).

It is planned for the photographs to stay on exhibit to the public through September 3. Mr. Wertheimer will sign each of the images while he is in Cincinnati. The photos will be auctioned off through the silent auction format – All funds raised, going to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee – in the memory of Elvis Presley.
