could we be in with a chance ?

Lets make sure that ALL the remaining releases get to number 1. BMG should now fulfill their supply promise. It's now up to us.

Nelly is starting to catch up to Elvis in sales.Saturdays sales seem to be more important than during the week.I will go out tomorrow to see if I can get His Latest Flame from one of the record stores

His Latest Flame/Little Sister should be no 1 regardless of what's going on in the charts! This single in itself is still a smash, after all these years! This is one of Elvis' strongest double sided hits, ever! It simply deserves to be no 1 again, purely on a musical basis! I can live with the fact that some of the other releases failed to go to no 1, but this one I would love to see at the top of the pole!

Nelly the elephant is only 4,000 behind now, it seems hes total everyday is double to what Elvis' is, and with saturday still to come im not sure if the number one spot will be ours this week.BUT if we all try and buy another copy (if we can find one) then you never know. Does anyone know what we are up against over the next few weeks

I have a feeling that Nelly will get to no1,He will probably sell between 35,000-40,000 copies. And Elvis probably 30,000 copies.

looking like a probable number4 this week-which is still good, but what can we do with no shelf space etc etc

andyportland, here are some of the competition for the next few weeks; 28 Feb - Britney Spears and Stereophonics (good record), 7 March - McFly (comic relief record), 14 March - Green Day & Shapeshifters. I would really like Devil In Disguise and The Wonder of You to reach No. 1.

Of course, it's not just Nelly fans buying his CD, it will be Tim McGraw/county music fans also, I think there's quite a few of them!

bajo, you are absolutely right, HIS LATEST FLAME / LITTLE SISTER must go to Number One or there is just no justice at all. What a superb Double-Sided Single and both songs are Awesome timeless Classics. Even the cover sleeve looks terrific after all these years. This is one Single no Elvis fan or music fan can do without. It's essential stuff.
