Viva Las Vegas - At The Sydney Open Air Cinema

February 13, 2002 | Other
"Viva Las Vegas" had a memorable screenings last Friday with the Opera House & Harbour Bridge as the beautiful backdrop. Despite the awful summer storms that day, the Sydney Open Air Cinema was packed with several hundred appreciative Elvis fans.

"Viva Las Vegas" is one of the few Elvis 1960's films that has aged well and it was a pleasure to be there as the audience cheered Ann-Margret, booed the baddies and screamed with delight at each Elvis move. Unfortunately this was the only screening this season so let's hope that next year sees more Elvis in this fabulous setting.
