Unique Set 3D Slides For Sale

February 23, 2010 | Other

Various unique, rare and new pictures showed up during the last days. A highly unique set of slides will soon be available during an upcoming auction. The offered lot is unique in different ways. The pictures are made on February 26 1971 in the Las Vegas International by Joe Pulliam. Elvis is wearing the White Checkerboard Suit, an almost never before seen image. As if this is not unique enough by itself, this set is one of the only known 3D photoseries of Elvis live in concert. The lot of 10 slides comes with a viewmaster, so you can see Elvis almost in real life. It's obvious that these kind of treasures will not change from owner for a bargain...the estimated minimum price is set a $35,000

Nice picture of Elvis. Very good color. I haven't seen this outfit before. However, the writer said the picture was "made" on February 26, 1971. Did the writer intend to say the photo was developed/printed on that day, or did he say the picture was taken on February 26th? Elvis' closing night show was on February 23, 1971.

Ha! That looks great!! It's always nice to see new images, especially when he looked as good as he does here. Nice to get something fresh from 71 too. Maybe the guy meant January 26th cos he wore a white jumpsuit there according to various sources. he wore the black cisko suit on closing night in February.
