In the latest issue of the Brittish music magazine Uncut there is a wholepage ad in blasting colour from BMG UK & Ireland promoting the two deluxe DVDs Aloha & 68-Comeback and the Elvis At Sun CD. This is what BMG should do in every country.

Jack Soden recently felt the pressure enough to respond. Elvis fans promote Elvis and therefore affect sales internationally. Intelligent use of Elvis's image is a factor not used to it's full potential-when was a new painting of Elvis commissioned by Graceland/EPE by a respected portrait painter, like Cowan? Imagine the publicity. There are more than enough beautiful images of Elvis to inspire any artist worth his salt. Then auction the painting and just watch the offers! Elvis Festivals such as the one in Shreveport this October, if made an annual event, would give an excellent boost to Christmas sales!

I know I've been e-mailing and asking them too. You have to see the faces on people in the Hard Rock Cafe here in N.Y when they show the highlights on overhead video from these 2 specials. Everyone stops and stares, at the screen.. I don't think they realize what they have here.. Look what happened with Elvis30's and ALLC when they did a major promotion. Imagine what would happen for these two gems considering it's Elvis live on video. The sales would go thru the roof, if there was a major campaign... This is the perfect time, and I hope BMG,and EPE don't lose the window of opportunity here. You can E-mail both EPE and BMG, and ask others to do the same. They Listen if enough people complain.
