There is a good chance that the spectaculair UK 18 #1 Hits single box will be released in The Netherlands as part of ElvisĀ“ 70th Birthday Celebration.

The Dutch fans could be in for a special treat as there could be a special gift included with the box just for the Dutch fans.

These 18 great Elvis #1 Singles should be released all over the world instead of only in England & Holland. Don't they know that the whole world will be also celebrating the King's 70th Grand Birthday?

Come on BMG, release it worldwide. We want it in Australia too.

we also want it in canada too. it is so frustrating that 90% of the things that i see on ELVIS NEWS is not to be found in my part of canada [toronto] and what you can find it takes a huge wallet to get it.

I think it is only fair to have all ELVIS related items, contests, you name it, available to everyone no matter where they live. After all, the fans are worldwide, yeah!

CD King - surely not just in England, I would have thought that they would have been released across the whole of the United Kingdom? Do people have problems buying imports? It seems easy enough to buy foreign releases in the UK, is it an issue in other countries? The final two questions are asked as serious questions.

According to the notes on E1 'In the Ghetto' peaked in the UK at #1 for 1 week. Can't see listed in these singles??

Suspicious minds is also not in the list also as In the Ghetto. Why are both songs not in the list ? Can anybody tell us why ? I take a look at the charts and then I come back to this site. Till then TCB.

The Guiness Book of Hit Records lists both records as reaching No. 2 in the UK charts, which is the overwhelming view of most people.

I cannot see the point in this. We all bought the single That's alright mama, not to play mainly, but to keep in our draws somewhere or on shelves, only to support the King. It is unfair to keep asking Elvis's fans to keep buying vinyl records just to store. The people with influence such as Todd Slaughter, and the folks at Graceland should know better than to support this product. We all know why BMG support It, and that Is for the money they will make for themselves. The single is a dying medium and rightly so. In this hi-tech age, people do not want to fart around with disks containing two or three songs when they can have a portable device such as an ipod or mp3 device with tons of songs. Downloading songs off the internet is the future, or even popping into HMV and asking the guy behind the counter to download the latest hit single (when this service is widely available soon) to your portable device If you are not internet connected.
