RobIreland,

In March 2010 the Official Charts Company launched the Official Chart Update - broadcast each Wednesday on Radio 1 at 4pm and each Thursday on MTV at 3pm - which is based on the industry-only Sales Flashes. The Official Update reveals how the runners and riders are selling in the first few days of the week, outlining the hottest new entries and the highest climbers for both singles and albums. You can see the Official Chart Update every Wednesday at 4pm on www.officialcharts.com.

This is the list that I have published below.

Right down amazing that 'he' manages to hit the top of the charts decades after his demise. Obviously his music is timeless, appealing to younger generations too.

Yes, Elvis number 5 in the UK album charts... very good to see. What tickled me was "Cliff Richard" with his new Rock n Roll cd took the previous Elvis position at number 7 .. Ah just like the good ole days LOL !

Having to chose between Lady Gaga or Celine Dion is hard. Gaga is the wild type and she loves to show some skin. Dion the more mature and expereinced I guess.. Difficult...

What an achievement! Presley in 2013, 35 years after his departure, is still a bestselling act in the UK, among the greatest artist from today like Lady Gaga and Eminem!
How great is this! What would Lady Gaga and Eminem think, when they see this chats?!
Only UK, home of the most loyal Elvis Presley fans in the World, treats the King with such passion! Long Live Elvis Presley and Long live his UK fans!

Hello alanfalk, went on the fecc board and there was nothing on Elvis
alanfalk (profilecontact) wrote on Nov 19, 2013report abuse
Hi fellow fans of the king, if you go to the f.e.c.c. board (if you don't know What it is, just google ;fecc, and it will be one of the first hits), you can find a link to the tv show ! under the tread; the nations favorite Elvis songs, and let me tell you it is GREAT !! And for all of you British fans, stop just hoping that it will sell well and start helping it sell instead ! buy at least one copy for yourself (and maybe a few for presents , Christmas is just around the corner, or maybe you known a young kid who you think would benefit from listening to some real music :), ). AND write or call your local radio station and request a song from the cd, preferably one of the songs that is not on the 30 number one hits, so that those people that own that one, will also see the point in buying this cd (that could be songs like Always on my mind, King creole, if I can dream, Viva las Vegas or Am. Trilogy ), we need the ball to keep rolling now ! TCB, and lets show the U.K. people and the world that Elvis still counts and that he can beat the Beatles (also after the first two weeks).

WOW!! (Brian, your top 10 prediction was spot on). Has there been any promotion yet? Haven't seen any. A lot of promotion for the beatles cd. Is it likely the program on ITV will be released on DVD?
