No decision has been made yet on the next 2004 releases, except that the April 1st. release is going to be a “soundboard” recording from the 70’s. Ernst Jorgensen is keeping an ear to the ground on which show to chose, but unfortunately most fans are now asking for shows from periods and tours where we don’t have any or very few shows (1970-73, July ’75).

Is "The Climb" on Viva Las Vegas the Coaster's song?

More info on "The Climb" song. In 1962, The Coasters recorded a song written by Leiber and Stoller called "The Climb" aka "The Slime". Maybe that Elvis recorded it one year later for the movie "Viva Las Vegas"?

On the 'Viva' tracks - what does the asterisk [*] denote ?

Isn't The Climb the song that the band are playing in the club scene before Elvis sings What'd I Say?

I hope these pictures are the images of the inner cover booklet! I would hope the cover's are as good as the three first releases, with the original artwork!!

All this talk about 'The Climb.' Elvis did not sing it, he danced to it. HELLO! Has anyone ever watched the movie? Here is what it says on pg. 264 of, 'Elvis: His Life From A to Z,' Written by Fred Worth and Steve Tamerius in 1988. "The Forte Four sang 'The Climb' while Lucky and Rusty danced. 'The Climb' was written by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller and originally recorded by the Coasters (Atco 6234) in 1962. The song was an attempt to capitalize on the various dance crazes of the early 1960's." I think this will be great to have on the CD.

What about a full soundboard recording of a February '72 concert? I think that would be the greatest, because they isn't much material from this time. February 16, would be great, as far as I know RCA has recorded this concert in it's entirely. Please release it!
