Tracklisting Elvis Duet CD

Here is the track listing for the soon be released double CD "Elvis Duets". This compilation, due for release April 3, 2007, will contain every duet Elvis recorded during his career. It will feature studio, movie, home and live recordings. Every track has been re-mastered for best possible sound quality. The sound quality is of course not as good on the home recordings as it is on the crystal clear studio recordings. Many people think that Elvis didn't do that many duets, but that's not the truth. He did some with other famous singers like Frank Sinatra, Ann-Margret, Juliet Prowse, Nancy Sinatra and others. Beside those with others stars did he also record some with less known singers and even with some of his own backup singers. As a special bonus will this release also feature a newly re-mastered soundboard version of the very touching duet with Lisa Marie Presley on "Don't Cry Daddy". CD 1 1. I would love to own this since I've only heard about the 2 duets he did with Linda Thompson and had to make my own copy of his "duet" with Shelley Fabares of Spring Fever. This I would try to find and purchase.

Devon, As you own all of Elvis recordings - please can you tell me where I can find the duets of 'The First Time....' - I have the Pure Diamonds version with Temple Riser, but woud really appreciate if you identify where I can find the Ginger Hollady version. Thanks in advance.

I have every recording that Elvis did, but this sounds kind of neat to me. It would be nice to have in my collection.

Duets is a nice idea and very popular (Sinatra, Jerry Lee Lewis), but to call many of these songs duets is a stretch and many of these recordings are very sub-par. I dont think this would be a quality release for an artist of Elvis' stature. To compare this with Jerry Lee's CD, would be a joke. Donna Butterworth indeed!

I think this is a great idea and think it would have been a fantastic FTD release - much better than yet another concert from 77. I only have one of the duet versions of 'The First Time... - the one with Temple Riser - and assuming BMG has these - I think it would be difficult fr the ot lose tapes from 2 different sessions!), they should be released ASAP. Don't gree that some of these are actually duets and should not be included, but overall, a really good idea.

truly, there are some home recordings in this collection that are sounding like they were recorded in my bathroom (under the shower)

Does anyone know where I can get this once it comes out? I live in the US

Indeed,..the idea isn`t bad..please take into account that the movie duets weren`t duets in the real sense cause the vocals of Elvis partners were overdubbed later in the most cases..so these duets are mostly "fakes"..
