Tickle Me had a soundtrack?? Does anyone remember that a soundtrack for this movie was never recorded, so songs from Elvis Is Back, along with a few songs from the early sixties recording sessions. Unless there are some unreleased alternate takes on this "compilation", I will not buy this one. I already have the soundtrack to this movie anyway. It's called, the 60's masters.

As elvinpelvin said nothing new here. Nothing new with the re-issued singles. The only "new" records are the new Cds EBTP with stereo versions from Jailhouse Rock. There must be stereo versions from King Creole !

elvinpelvin: I beleive most of us are aware that the "Tickle Me" soundtrack was composed of previously recorded songs. Nevertheless it will be great to have those songs together w/bonus tracks in the great 7 inch packaging. Complete with booklet and pics. It's worth it for the cover photo alone. I can't wait!! Yes, I know these songs are on the '60s boxset. But I hate digging those out. If you don't want it, skip it. I always skip the soundboards. That's what FTD is about, "Something For Everybody". BTW: Can't wait for this one. Should be great.

CD King: Seems as though you and I are like two voices crying in the wilderness. The only two that have seen the light. I don't understand all the carping about this release. This is going to be great fun. We shall enjoy!!

I originally was less than enthused about the "EP-style", 7-inch style of soundtrack reissues -that is, until I got one. And then another ("Viva Las Vegas," followed by "Girl Happy," etc.). Maybe it's becuase of a similiar "over-lap" tic like ElvinPelvin mentions. FTD and RCA is ripping me off, I protested. After all, I had finally gotten all the "Double-Features" sets and all the the other stuff. Frankly, the FTD soundtracks reaked of "milking it." But how nice they are! And the whole thing is meant to be fun. Bring on the "Tickle Me" so-called "soundtrack." I love it. Let the embarrassment of riches continue.

No Gary, Ernst, Roger, Henrik, Hubert, Pacer, Joe a.o. we will "not" buy this CD...nor Rockin' in TX....for obvious reasons: 1. too high priced for poor material, also not intriguing nor innovative songs like. Market has been swamped with 74 & 75 concerts, nothing new or exciting. sorry bad choice from BMG and EPE. Also too high priced. should be US$45 for double CD on FTD 2. Tickle Me is not of interest. we have those songs over and over again. they beat the shi..o ut of those 60s sessions, don't they Lindes? Give us rather GGGirls,KCreole, Roust, KCousins, Ch of Habit outtakes! Then you're talking and arousing interest to buy them. right fellows? Opinions are awaiting and expected from those 3,400 fans who do care. Remember elvisNEVERleftthebuilding
