Why must RCA forever run roughshod over Elvis' original albums with these phony "new" compilations? No artist of his stature suffers from such a lame catalog policy.

Have to agree with Greg. The latest releases are pretty poor and very uninspired. Even the FTD label seems to be suffering. I wonder if the recent Sony takeover has something to do with it?

Hasn't this type of procedure been done once before with "Time Life" that was only available on T.V. And each C.D. had at least one un-released bonus track????

Sorry guys, but until we can get Elvis into the studio to record some new material, :-) we can't expect a whole lot of new stuff coming from the labels.

I didn't buy any of the first three. I won't decide on the next bunch until I see the tracklists. Highest probability of purchase would be the "Live" disc.
