The Ultimate Elvis ... Trilogy

As we mentioned earlier Jim Curtin will be releasing a series of books (Trilogy) of which the first one will appear in January 2001, "The Ultimate Elvis ... The Fifties". It will be a colour hard-cover (9"x12") book with 192 pages costing about $ 25. It should be available worldwide. This first edition will contain rare and collectable photo's of Elvis childhood until the end of his Army-years in 1960.

Follow Elvis from his humble Memphis beginnings to his coronation as the King of Rock 'n' Roll. As a personal friend and one of the world's foremost collectors of Elvis memorabilia, Jim Curtin brings a unique perspective to his subject. Drawing from the best of his extensive archives, which include many unpublished photos, as well as many personal items, this book offers a rare look at the early career of a rock 'n' roll legend whose success would change the shape of American culture forever. Ultimate Elvis: The Fifties contains many never-before-seen photographs of 800 collectibles, publicity shots, and film stills from the early stage of the King's career.

The second part of this trilogy "The Ultimate Elvis ... The sixties" will appear in August 2001 and should also rare photo's from that era. Part three will appear on August 16 2002, and will be dedicated to Elvis in the seventies.
