So you prefer 'Girl Of Mine' to 'One Night' or 'This Is Our Dance' to 'All Shook Up'? Don't make me laugh. I like all the different phases of Elvis's career, but he was original in the 1950s. By the 1970s he was more or less a parody of himself. Far too much time is spent focusing on his 70s career by certain people on the web. Is it the bling and flash that attracts them? It must be, because musically he was stagnent compared to what he achieved in the 50s and early 60s - before the rot set in.

why do they keep with the 50's elvis? i love elvis but god his best music was done in the late 60's and 1970's in my opinion. elvis wasnta singer in the 50's he was getting by on his looks and movements. g ive me balads from the 60's and 70's over any of them from the 50's anydays. same with his "rock" songs. his voice was strained too much in the 50's who in there right mind can sing like elvis did on jailhouse rock and one night? i like the more mature sounding elvis where his voice is full of power. i wont buy the 50's stuff i have enough of them songs from the box set done back in 1991 or whenever it was. when they release the 60's and 70's let us know

16 tracks per CD? Elvis recorded more than 48 good tracks in the 50's (!) so although this could have been a good concept, the actual realisation is yet again poor value for consumers.
