The King Is Dead Reprint

July 20, 2004 | Book
Katco Media announces the return of the King with the re-print of the book "The King Is Dead" from Robert R. Holton from 1998. After five years of the book being out of print, the second edition will be unveiled on the twenty-seventh anniversary of the King's death in a limited quantity.

From the publisher: "The King Is Dead" by Robert Holton details the minute-by-minute play of the Funeral of Elvis Aaron Presley. Memphis Funeral Director Robert Kendall was the last man on the face of the Earth to see the body of Elvis Aaron Presley following his sudden and unexpected death in August 1977. Now, for the first time, you will read about the intimate details of the burial of Elvis Presley and what Kendall went through to pay the final tribute to Elvis.

Some have accused Holton and Katco of presenting a morbid and disturbing tale of history's most famous funeral. But, these critics have obviously never read this book. "The King Is Dead" is NEVER disturbing; NEVER mobid. Instead, it is a touching, heart-warming story of how the world said goodbye to a rock and roll legend.

No author has ever presented such a gripping account of one facet of Elvis Aaron Presley's celebrated life and death like Robert Holton.
