The King Is Dead Finally Released

September 02, 2004 | Book
The re-print of the book "The King Is Dead" has finally been released. Katco Media shipped copies of Robert Holton's look at Elvis' funeral as of yesterday.

From the publisher:

'The King Is Dead' by Robert Holton details the minute-by-minute play of the Funeral of Elvis Aaron Presley.

Memphis Funeral Director Robert Kendall was the last man on the face of the Earth to see the body of Elvis Aaron Presley following his sudden and unexpected death in August 1977. Now, for the first time, you will read about the intimate details of the burial of Elvis Presley and what Kendall went through to pay the final tribute to Elvis.

Some have accused Holton and Katco of presenting a morbid and disturbing tale of history's most famous funeral. But, these critics have obviously never read this book. 'The King Is Dead' is NEVER disturbing; NEVER mobid. Instead, it is a touching, heart-warming story of how the world said goodbye to a rock and roll legend."
