This sounds fantastic, I am really looking forward to this. Does anybody know, the bonus CD, will that contain the concert that Elvis performed there? Can anyone tell me, was there only concert performed or two?

Elvis performed just the one concert in Hawaii, although he had performed afternoon and evening shows in Memphis the previous month. I too would like to know the contents of the CD, this package looks like a must-buy item for fans.

If the CD contains the full concert, this pacakge will make some of the FTD releases seem non-essential. This is what I expect from FTD. Right on JAT!

The 61 Hawaii concert has already been released on the ELvis Aron Presley box set and the sound is not that good. It would be nice if FTD would put packages together like this.

FTD HAVE done packages like this; did you not get "Flashback", "That's the way it was" or "Rockin' across Texas". The CD with the Tunzi book looks like it will contain radio announcements etc.

When I said FTD should do something like this, I meant specifically the Hawaii 1961 show. I know they put out books before. This concert (being the last one given by Elvis till his comebcak) seems to be overlooked by RCA except for the 25th anniversary box. A book and cd would be nice and I'm glad someone is doing that. Sound quality aside, its a historic event.
