Invisible because there was used a language other than English

Still better than anything out there today.

I saw him in Augusta, Maine on May 24th 1977, just one month prior to that one and he was singing as well as usual and was in great shape! I just can't understand why there is so much criticising on that particular final show of June 26th 1977! If there were no more releases of any kind, Elvis fans...would be disappointed. Let's just be thankful for those releases. This is my opinion and this is it folks!

I really don't expect anything from this (re-re) release..especcialy nothing from the so-called better sound...again making a few quick dollars...hopefully I am wrong...but I guess not...

Hi Santa Claus, Elvis News' announcement says " due for release.....". Do you mean the CD has been released already several months ago ?

This recording makes the round as a CD-R for several month now. So, no surprise thought.

This show has been unofficially released probably more than any other. I've heard three different versions, one recorded from the seat nearest the rafters, one recorded from a seat behind the stage, and the "Adios" version which sounds like it was recorded from the front row, right in the center. Hopefully, the digital wizards will pull off some magic with the sound to make it a little better, but as the release notes state, Adios already sounded pretty good. The pre-program is something new, at least to me, but it holds no interest. Neither does the booklet and poster. However, I still might buy this one, if their claim of better sound rings true.

Interesting. I thought the release called "Adios" (unless I'm very much mistaken) was the best so far. I do hope a soundboard pops up sometime so that the whole world may know how great his voice was and the dignity he decided his career with, as a human being and artistically. I don't think the Omaha show was without highlights. It's just that I hear his microphone hiss a lot, there's some feedback. His vocal performance is fine, just a bit soft at times and there's trouble pronouncing words ("now thatchu around me") and such.

I always prefer a good sounding audience recording with a live feeling over a sterile SB recording..at any time..!

A soundboard of this show would be great. But in this day and age, with digital sound, an audience recording doesn't do it. It was fine when collecting recordings on audio cassette. It looks a good package. Elvis was singing ok on June 26th, certainly improved on the Omaha show. Let's see the full concert on soundboard.

A 20 pages book, a 2 cds and even a soudboard, wouldn't compensate me for Elvis in Such a Bad shape!

The 20-page booklet and a poster won't compensate me for the bad sound quality.

Better sound ? Means ? Still audience recordeing ? Better sound ? etc, etc....

You have to wonder what was the plan in the Presley camp in the summer of 1977. Another tour was planned for August, Then there'd be another Im sure for the fall. Keep touring until Elvis drops dead? I guess their plan worked huh?
