Sylvia Shemwell, a founding and current member of The Sweet Inspirations, suffered a stroke in mid-June. Sylvia does have a bit of paralysis and will have to undergo several weeks of therapy. Originally, it was expected that she would still be with Elvis-The Concert when it is on the road again in August. Although she is doing well, it is now expected that she will still be in therapy at that time. We look forward to welcoming her back to the stage as soon as possible.
