In the U.K. "King Creole" is a new entry at #15 on the Singles chart with 8974 copies sold. "Elvis The King" climbs to #21 on the Album Chart.

In Ireland "King Creole" is a new entry at #23 while "Elvis The King" drops from #37 to #39 on the Album chart.

In Australia the "'68 Comeback Special" DVD drops from #35 to #37 on the DVD Top 40 while the "Aloha From Hawaii Special" hangs on to the last spot, dropping from#29 this week.

In Germany "Elvis The King" drops from #30 to #33.

In the Flanders part of Belgium "The Essential Elvis Presley" drops from #26 to #49. In the Wallonian site of the country "The Essential Elvis Presley" drops from #13 to #22

im not into all the chart things going on with Elvis - but i do think it will be interesting to see how many single/ cd's he sells this year. It should be around 200,000 or so maybe?And how close is he to passing Cliff Richard and the Beatles on the total single sales? Getting close i would think.

Interesting that the number of units sold is going down each week. On the basis that regular fans are buying for their boxset would indicate a few are being picked up by "joe public", and interest is waning. Either that or fans are also giving up. I don't think so many fans are buying the vinyl this time round. I know I'm not at a fiver a go.
