Stay Away, Joe On Vinyl
FTD will release a limite vinyl edition of the Stay Away, Joe album that they released in the past. The release date is set for May 11, 2014.
I love vinyl and I did not buy the FTD CD of SAJ so I might get this. It is not a must have and it a head scratcher as to why they would choose this one for vinyl release over some of the others.
suprise about this sudenly Vinyl, BUT! worth it, stay away is one of my many Favorits songs. FTD
I agree Jerry. I would love to see "Memphis Tenn." on a double album:-) But I really hope they will change the cover since the 7" classic FTD CD cover was so non 1964. It tried to be sort of modern but already outdated (in my humle opinion...). It didn't catch the 60's feel.
Further I hope to see more complete concerts on vinyl. Primarly from years not yet officially covered with complete concerts on LP's: Aug. 1969, Aug. 1970, 1971, 1976 (and 1975 if we don't count in the EAP box-set). I think FTD eventually will release a concert from the On Tour period on vinyl as well:-) But when...?
Great, but that was 24 yrs ago. And what I'm wanting is a vinyl release that reflects the expanded FTD version. 2 LPs. Gate fold cover. Masters and outtakes.
Great! I will certainly get this one. Since this was nver released on LP it will be nice to finally have it on glorious vinyl:-)
PS! JerryNodak, "Sings Memphis" was released in 1990 on LP as "For The Asking - The Lost Album". With the 1963-64 studio master tracks.
They certainly cannot please everyone.. but there are a lot of whiners here on FTD..
For vinyl "junks" only...
I can think of titles I would buy on vinyl if released. "Sings Memphis, Tennessee," comes to mind. This however, is not one of them.
