Song By Vernon Presley Discovered

December 18, 2005 | People
Did Elvis get his talent from his father? A tape, offered for sale at the next Regency Superior Auction (January 8th) perhaps holds the answer. It was 'recorded' in his office behind Graceland. The song is seemingly directed to his second wife Dee, and is about the end of their relationship. Estimated value: $3000.00.

My guess is that it is Jim Curtin. He is selling a bunch of stuff at action ... with a good portion listed as "Given by Vernon Presley". I've never heard of Vernon giving anything away... especially valuable Elvis stuff. Check out Jim's auction on Ebay. Lots of WAY overpriced good stuff, and lots of junk too.
