Great album, but you'd be better off with the 2LP FTD version! Better quality songs & better plastic!

For those, like me, who (still) love vinyl ( and not "plastic" !) and should not have the original release, this is a good opportunity to obtain the album with the original masters and 2 bonussongs. The FTD vinyl release is no option as this double LP set ( 28 tracks ) has only 1 master : 'Put The Blame On Me' , all 27 other tracks are alternate takes. As for the vinyl quality, Buffalo-Horn could be right, there are indeed differences in the quality of the used vinyl grains. Some companies let their unsold vinyl records milled and so obtained new grains but of lesser quality as a result,so being pressed on 180 gr. vinyl is no warranty for first quality. I've been in this business not only as a singer-songwriter but also as a salesman for EMI ( many, too many years ago { lol } ). I have the original album and the new FTD double LP release as well. Always El.
