Larry Geller is working on a new documentary about Elvis, the roots of Elvis and his impact on fans. Working title is "Elvis Presley Boulevard", and the targeted premiere date is August 2009 (Elvis Week, Memphis). Larry was the special guest at the first Elvis Weekend in Bischofsgrün (Germany), put together by top collector Markus Henfling. Two hundred fans (= a full 4 star hotel) attended the weekend, which was sold out since July last year.

On Sunday, Joe Moscheo from The Imperials accepted Elvis' star during the Music City Walk Of Fame induction ceremony at the Country Music Hall of Fame park in Nashville.

Sherrill Nielsen will be receiving the prestige Living Legend Award from the North American Country Music Association, International. This award will be given to him in March 2009. Sherrill and Brenda Nielsen (VOICE) will be opening the Awards Show in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. This is to recognize and honor his 50 years in the music industry and also his special vocal part on the Elvis programs.

I am so glad Joe was there for that honor. He was & still is a good friend to Elvis. I can't think of a classier individual for that honor. Of course, EPE was missing. Not only from this Walk of Fame ceremony but from the Walk of Stars ceremony in Las Vegas as well. How shameful. It took many hours of time & effort as well as money on the part of the fans to sponsor both events, yet no word from EPE. Both of the ceremonies honor Elvis & his musical legacy, which is what it should all be about. It is obvious that to EPE Elvis has become nothing more than bobble heads & Pez dispensers while others are working tireless for the real meaning behind Elvis. EPE should be ashamed. Not an EPE representative, not a card or letter of thanks/acknowledgement, not even a mention on Elvis.com. How disrespectful to Elvis & the fans.

Dont be so hard on Epe,they were busy thinking of new ways to make Elvis image even better, the ducks & pez dispensers were great but they need something even more special.so they cant be bothered with anything that reminds them him he actually recorded music!

Mature Elvis: You are so right on! However, we need to be a thorn in the side of EPE. Apparently you haven't seen the sink strainer!

If you take the tour at Sun Records in Memphis, they point out that Cash did not sing on that recording. He was in the studio & did jam a little but did not record with Elvis, Jerry Lee & Carl.
