She-Elvis To Feature In Vegas Baby

Comedian and actress Kathy Griffin has signed on to play the role of She-Elvis in the independent film "Vegas Baby". Eric Bernt, one of the screenwriters of "Romeo Must Die," is making his directorial debut with the feature, an Insomnia Entertainment production. Vincent Pastore ("The Sopranos"), Kal Penn and Jonathan Bennett also star in the road-trip tale of five pals who travel to Vegas for a bachelor party.

Somewhere, in rock'n'roll heaven, Elvis must be laughing his heart out. Elvis loved "Dr. Strangelove", Monty Python and had a wonderful sense of humour. She-Elvis! What will they think of next? I am almost afraid to ask! I know ... how about El Vez, the Mexican Elvis, doing a remake of "Fun in Acapulco"? Just kidding!!
