Second Elvis Remix Planned

June 25, 2002 | Other
Elvis Presley's record company, BMG, are making plans to release a second Elvis remix single in a bid to emulate the success of the current No 1, A Little Less Conversation. The label has been so overwhelmed by the success of JXL's (pictured) remix that it is now in talks with several DJs about repeating the success on one of the tracks which will appear on the forthcoming Elvis No 1s album. 'It has to be right,' said a spokesman for BMG. 'It has to be as big as A Little Less Conversation otherwise it won't reflect the No 1s album.'

The forthcoming Elvis album will feature all 31 Presley tracks to top either the UK or US singles charts and will be the subject of a huge global advertising campaign by the label. The album has a tentative release date of 23 September.
