Sam Philips A&E Special which will be aired on June 18 in America. The 80 minutes special is titled "Sam Phillips:The Man Who Invented Rock & Roll"
It's a story about how Sam did his best to find talent to record in his studio. It mentioned that Sam went thru crucial hard times trying to get the music out for the public. In those days, only a few radio stations like WHBQ and WDIA were playing 'black" music. The show has interviews with stars like Perkins, Orbison, Cash, Moore, Rufus Thomas, and a lot of other people that made "Sun" like we know it now.
