On the FECC messageboard there was a posting with an email from Joe DiMuro, Executive Vice President, BMG-Strategic Marketing Group on the strategy for the Rubberneckin' remix:
"Thank you for your note and support of our efforts. We have a radio impact date of August 25th and will be targeting HAC (Hot Adult Contemporary) stations initially and then roll-out the single to the MT40 (maintsteam top 40) stations throughout the summer. We also just completed a production of the music video for the "Rubberneckin" remix with Paul Oakenfold. The video is dynamic, youthful, virbrant, and features over 1:30 of Elvis in very unique scenes. We think the fan base will be very very pleased with this video. We expect to service this to the trade (MTV and VH1) sometime late August/early September."
