Rolling Stone Brazil Releases Elvis Collector's Edition

Rolling Stone Brazil has recently released a new collector's edition centering around the life and legacy of Elvis Presley.

The 134-page collector's edition features photos and artifacts from the various stages of Elvis' career and is written in Portuguese. The magazine opens the story of Elvis' childhood in Tupelo, MS and continues to his landmark rise to fame with historic television and concert appearances.

Fans can see full-page photos of Elvis from his time spent in the Army to his days performing live on stage. Also included in this rare collector's edition are Graceland artifacts and featured editorials about Elvis' impact on pop culture.

The people that buy RS are mostly in their 20's. Putting Elvis on the US version of it would not appeal to most young people. I dont think it would sell well. It is no longer 1992. Elvis is not in the mainstream anymore here like he used to be. I sell Elvis on Ebay from time to time and 80% of the people that bid are not from the USA. It tells me he is more popular in other countries.

Hi Alanfalk! Elvis´exhibition, ELVIS IN CONCERT and the magazine worked out and they were big successes, mainly in São Paulo, where EPE had to provide an extra concert for thousands. TCB!

I wish the U.S. version, would put Elvis on the cover of this magazine, more often, with some "positive stories". Someday they will get it, Elvis Presley was the first Rock-n-roll hero, and should be celebrated and remembered for his importance and place in Rock-n-Roll history.

Congratulations to EPE and the personal involved in this nice publishing. The magazine is very large, beautiful and there are only very few mistakes, perfectly acceptable, considering its size. There is a huge Elvis Exhibition in the country and ELVIS IN CONCERT has passed by here too. So, the magazine was very welcome. Thanks!
