Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. is pleased to announce the new Elvis Rock 'n' Roll Ride for Life benefiting the American Diabetes Association, which will begin and end at Elvis Presley's Graceland, the legendary superstar's home in Memphis, Tennessee, on April 22, 2007. This event for motorcycle enthusiasts will serve as a fitting homage to Presley's passion for motorcycles and to his lifetime of generosity to individuals and charitable causes. Festivities at Graceland will include the unveiling of the limited edition Elvis 30th Anniversary Signature Collection Harley-Davidson® motorcycle produced by Graceland® Harley-Davidson, a branch location of Bruce Rossmeyer's Southern Thunder Harley-Davidson.
By offering three levels of participation ranging from $50.00 - $300.00, riders and their passengers can choose from a variety of experiences for the 100-mile escorted ride and the weekend's events. Activities can include a VIP event and pre-ride party at the Gibson Guitar Beale Street Showcase, ride staging at the steps of Graceland Mansion, tours of the Gibson Guitar Factory and Graceland Mansion, a post-ride party with food, beverages, and live music on the Graceland visitor center property, special commemorative gifts, and much, much more. A special highlight will be the unveiling of the limited edition Elvis Presley 30th Anniversary Signature Collection Harley-Davidson® motorcycle, painting and sculpture, which have been created in tribute to Elvis in this, the thirtieth anniversary year of his passing.
The Elvis Rock 'n' Roll Ride for Life benefiting the American Diabetes Association will depart the Graceland properties at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 22, 2007, with the highest level of participants officially kicking off the ride from the front steps of Graceland Mansion.
