What have they done to Elvis' lovely hair? This picture is from King Creole. They cropped it to make it looks like GI BLUES. Why can't they just use a real 68 Comeback Photo??

I agree with you CD King that is what really gets up my nose lately. Why can't they just simply use a picture from the actual event.

With comments like the last one I sometimes wonder which planet these so-called fans have arrived from. How can anyone who is a fan say they are sick to death of Elvis in the 1950's? What such fans fail to realize is that this is the era which changed popular music forever, and therefore for the casual listener will always garner the most interest in why music and popular culture was changed. If they take their interest further then they will discover Elvis' other music. If they don't then they can't do better than to listen to the music that changed everything. I love all of Elvis' music but it has to be said that his 1960's & '70s output didn't really change anything - he had already been the catalyst for change in the 1950's. Most of the recent (and upcoming) single releases have been from the 1960's, and will also be from the '70s, etc. And when you see the image of Elvis these days it's almost always the 1970's image that's portrayed. Why not be sick of that image too?? I do agree that they should use pictures appropriate to the era. Stop seeing Elvis as a 1950's, '60s or '70s Elvis. See him as simply ELVIS. P.S. Sorry for putting a logical thought across. I know logic is a dirty word for some on this site.
