Quiz: Are You Lonesome Tonight

January 30, 2005 | Music
Again ElvisNews.com and BMG Nederland offer you a chance to win a copy of (hopefully) the next UK #1 single "Are You Lonesome Tonight" this week.

All you have to do is tell us what year Elvis sang the famous "laughing version" of this song. This quiz is closed.

The winner of our 4th quiz is: Diedrick, congratulations! The answer was of course "There's No Tomorrow".

One lucky person who enters one of the quizzes over all 17 consecutive weeks from January 3 to April 25, will win the complete CD-singles box.

If you can’t wait that long, you can order the complete sets on CD or vinyl using the links below.

That laughing version has got to be one of the worst things ever put out by RCA! and how come "IS IT SO STRANGE" is never included on any of the LOVE compilations ?

BRILLIANT version. This shows the very playful side of Elvis which, in essence, was a big part of his character both on and off stage.

Got Are You Lonesome this morning, I dont agree with the choice of bonus track at all. I think they should have stayed within the era, should have used "Reconsider Baby" or "Girl of my Best Friend" or the like
