Quickpoll

August 04, 2008 | Other
The result of our last three polls were pretty much the same. The result of our poll on "The Complete '68 Comeback Special" 4 CD set was that 71 percent thought that this is the definitive set (until now). The other 21 percent probably are hoping for an even more complete or better sounding release of the audio from this legendary television special.

For our new poll we gear up for Christmas. EPE and SONY / BMG announced the release of a Christmas duets album. We want to know if you think this is a good idea.

With the never ending stream of Christmas compiliations year after year this idea doesnt seem half bad. I mean they are holiday songs, not to be played all year round. I see it as a harmless and welcome relief to the rehashed Christmas CDs that we always see released.

I'll probably buy this. But I won't make a final decision until I see the complete tracklist. I find the pairing of Gretchen Wilson on Merry Christmas Baby to be intriging to say the least. I might consider buying the album for that track alone. I agree with Steve V. If they're going to release Elvis' Christmas songs again they might as well market them in a different way.

I'll be picking this up for sure, something different.
